We found Nathan through a Google search for local Saxophone teachers and after reading his excellent reviews, we decided to give him a try. My son started lessons with him about a year ago (aged 9y) and since then the progress he's made has been fantastic. Nathan has worked closely with him to develop his technique, build his confidence, and most importantly, foster a genuine love of playing the saxophone. Thanks to Nathan’s guidance and encouragement, my son recently passed his Grade 2 exam with Distinction. Every lesson is something my son looks forward to and Nathan has a way of making learning both enjoyable and rewarding. He consistently goes above and beyond, dedicating his time and expertise to help him reach his full potential. I’ve been learning the saxophone with Nathan for two years now - I’m an adult learner and started with absolutely no experience on any kind of instruments. Nathan has been brilliant through this process. He has a way of explaining and demonstrating things that makes the learning feel simpler and more doable, which is so helpful when picking up a new skill as an adult. Have been having face to face lessons with Nathan for 2 years now. Enjoying it enough to buy a saxophone. Nathan is a great teacher with loads of patience - which he needs! Nathan is a brilliant teacher - super patient, understanding and fun, he utilises his vast experience to guide me through the journey of learning the sax at a pace that motivates and fits my capacity to learn. I made way more progress in my first year than I ever expected, and it made the process of learning what can be an intimidating instrument very rewarding! Nathan is an excellent saxophone player and a fantastic teacher! I was looking for a saxophone tutor near me for face to face lessons and came across Nathan luckily! After a while I decided to change to online lessons which I wasn’t sure about at first but it came in handy and Nathan made it so easy. He is such a lovely person, so patient and very professional. I’m really glad that I chose Nathan as my saxophone teacher, I quickly realised that I had found a great teacher, from the outset he quickly understood my ability including my bad habits and we established a plan to correct them.  Highly experienced and professional Nathan has been able to understand the root cause of any issue and is always able to tailor the lesson to always get the best out of each scenario. Being very patient is another great quality that Nahan displays and as a mature student this is very much appreciated.
